As part of the 2014 London Festival of Architecture, the Fashion Space Gallery team have also been working with Studio Weave to transform the roof terrace at 20 John Prince’s Street into an urban garden environment. The aim of the project was to create an inspirational and sympathetic space that will help to facilitate experimental new teaching and learning activities and increase public access and interaction. The new roof garden was opened on 11th June and will be used to host a series of discursive events during the London Festival of Architecture, all of which will be centred around the theme of ‘ways to use an urban rooftop’.
