10 London College of Fashion, MA Womenswear students showcased their collections last night at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster.
This year we wanted to incorporate technology within the catwalk. Hypervsn, a holographic display was used to display the names of each of the designers and an augmented reality catwalk app, Holo Me recorded the show.
The music used was inspired by a cityscape. It will feature a taxi driver driving through a city mixed with different tracks, as if listening to the radio as well as this remixed by atmospheric sounds.
Once again, London College of Fashion tried to make the catwalk show as sustainable as possible. By working with Bacchus we have tried to re-use as much of the materials from previous shows as possible to reduce waste, including the panels and benches.
Congratulations to all our MA19 Womenswear designers, the show was spectacular. To find out more about our MAW/W courses please visit here. Or to see the MA19 Menswear show, see here.
