In collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition (14 March – 19 July 2015), London College of Fashion’s Centre for Fashion Curation is proudly co-hosting a conference with the museum this week, on the career and legacy of Lee Alexander McQueen.
Vanessa So Wing Ni, BA Fashion Design and Marketing, a winner of the V&A x Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Illustration Competition.
This two day conference will examine the work of Lee Alexander McQueen, his collaborators, partnerships, inspirations and legacy. Speakers include, Christopher Breward, Anne Deniau, Caroline Evans, Tim Long, Alistair O’Neill, and Savage Beauty curator Professor Claire Wilcox. The conference will be hosted at the V&A on Friday 5th June and at London College of Fashion’s John Prince’s Street site on Saturday 6th June 2015.
